The snowy haired German vampire lounged tiredly in one of the more comfrotable, classy areas of the bar. He took a sip of a certain dark crimson liquid from his glass. the blood slid down his throat effortlessly, with barely a swallow. It tasted great tonight especially.
He was worn from some previous battles. He was proud to have gotten a workout, and to now know he had not becoem dull since the last battle. This bar also had an area for people to party, and right now, all he could hear was the rapid-fire thud of that trash they call music: techno. Body wound around one enought, sinuous and entangled together. Unnaturally graceful movements of the vampiric...albeit, some where indeed clumsy as any human.
He laid his head back, comfortable where he lay. No one was inthe comfortable niche with him, he was alll alooone...

Verona walked into the bar, there seemed to be a party happening over to the left of her. She glanced over to her right, walking over to the emtier side of the bar that had a classier feel to it. She sat down, waiting for the bartender to come bring her a drink. She looked up from the table, and spotted Dante. It had been a while since she had last seen him, but she wanted to wait to see if he would notice her...

He did not at first. But then, that familiar sleek eminine figutre caught his peripheral vision. He smirked, and sat up, took another small sip, and watched her out the corner of his silvery blue eyes. She would know he saw her...

Her eyes widened has she saw him glance at her and give a smirk. He was toying with her, how predictable, even after all these years. She looked over towards him more directly, raising an eyebrow.

And the second he saw that, he turned his head away, to watch the dancers with mocking interest. A gesture. 'Fine. Then don't speak to me. i'll be damned if I'm getting off of my ass right now.' Of course...done with all the mockry and easy taunting he could muster at the moment.

She saw him turn away, looking back over at the dancers. I guess he wants me to come to him.... she thought to herself, rolling her eyes slightly. If he really had been interested in seeing her again, why hadent he come over? The thought was pushed out of her head as she sat up and slowly started walking over to his table.

Oh, he indeed had wished to see her again. But he always went to her, every time in the past...now, it was Verona's turn. When she reached him, he smiled. "It has been awhile, friend. You've been well, I trust?"

She smiled, "Yes, quite, but I have been alone for wuite some time, moving from city to city, but I think I shall stay at this one...." Pulling out a chair across form him, she sat down.

"I have been wandering, but when am i not?" He took a deep sip and set his glass down. It still had soem blood in it. "I plan to stay here as well. It's not such a bad place, and I came here after growing weary of Rome...." He smirked. "All the humans there, they pray, thinking thier god is so close because of the Vatican. They beleive that thier god will ward us all off. They are fools, and I grew sick of thier blood. Thier disgustingly 'holy' blood." It took alot for him to lodge a complaint. Apparently Rome irked him, even if he loved the art it was submerged in.

"Hmm, well, its funny how we ended up in the same place after all these years..." She looked over at Dante, reaching deep into his silvery blue eyes with her emeral greens, trying to see any kind of emotion.

His silvery b;lues, caught by her eyes, looked right back. At first, they where as cool and calm as always...but slowly they seemed to warm with gentle feelings for her. Dante was yet again reminded of the feelings he had for hr. It had been so long, after all....and now he realized, it sort of ached to have been away from her for as many years as they had been. "I've missed you, Verona..."

He ran his fingers through his snowy hair, which shimmered magnificently in the club lighting. "How long has it truly been, Verona?" He asked, voice still a cool murmur. He almost said, 'my Verona', but he had luckily caugfht himself. He didn't even think she thought of him that way.

"I am not sure actually, but certinly long enough," She said, giving a quick glance around the bar before meeting his eyes again.

He laughed, the sound rolling off of his cultured tongue as richly and quietly as he could allow. "Quite. Too long, even. Conversation already grows dull, how dissappointing. But soemtimes where is nno words to say, but only actions to speak for you..." He said. A bit coyly, albeit. He wanted to see her reaction, test her a bit. What would she do, say?
